Clube da Esquina (Corner Club) is another stolen name, this time it was borrowed from an album by Milton Nascimento and Lô Borges, who in 1972 decided to bring together a group of musicians to work on what would have become one of the most beautiful albums of Popular Brazilian Music of all times. The duo would no meet again with the same intensity, dedicating themselves to solo careers. To this day, both the club and the corner remain meeting places of subcultures, interests, creation and work; places where popular knowledge is widespread. As a kind of homage or as a way of sharing, this broadcast intends to be faithful to the dynamic which these mythical city spaces incorporate, dedicating itself to the search of songs which will interconnect arising from a theme rescued from popular fictions. Clube da Esquina is structured in 12 chapters and presents itself at the rate of one per month. This is my radio show, stay tuned.
